Mission Statement:
“to turn heads and hearts into the hands and feet of Christ".
Vision Statement:
To use Kingdom Assignment stewardship principles to encourage
others to use their God given Talents, Treasures and Time by advancing
God’s Kingdom globally beyond every generational, ethnic and faith
boundary with the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe…
Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ. We
can do nothing separate of Him. God and God alone is deserving of
all the glory in all aspects of our lives. Life is a gift and we are to take
care and value that gift. The Kingdom Assignment and the
scriptures attributed to each assignment are reminders to us that we are
responsible to be good stewards of the Talents, Treasure and Time that has been
allotted us. We love and respect all local churches, no matter how small or
large. Christ loved and died for the church who are we to not love all
churches that proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
What is a Kingdom Assignment?
The day the Bellesi’s challenged their congregation, giving out $100
dollars to one hundred people was November 4th and 5th 2000. That first service
Pastor Denny announced; “this is an assignment a Kingdom Assignment”,
the words stuck and became the title of this idea. The goal of this experience
was to give their congregation a living example of the Parable of the TALENTS in
Matthew 25:14-30. Believing there was more kingdom assignments in the Bible the
following year, after the World Trade Center disaster and the local food banks
were low, they asked their congregation to sell a TREASURE of significance
raising money to help serve the poor in their community. The story of the Rich
Young Ruler in (Mark 10:17-31) was the inspiration behind what they called
Kingdom Assignment 2. The following year, November 2002 they again
challenged their congregation with good stewardship of their TIME by using the
scripture of the Sheep and the Goats in Matthew 25:31-asking for people to give
90 minutes of time to one person that they consider a “least of these”, becoming
Kingdom Assignment 3.
Can we use the words Kingdom Assignment?
Yes, you are welcome to use the words Kingdom Assignment. The words
Kingdom Assignment have been trademarked and under this government approved trademark it is stated that the idea was taken from the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25 of the Bible, which we believe holds the integrity. We ask that your Kingdom Assignment(s) projects always be attributed and connected to the corresponding scripture. We have found these scriptures to be the powerful convicting components where we see the Holy Spirit work in such tremendous ways.
